English: Britannia gauge silver waiter dated 1732, with Fane crests and arms of Fane impaling Stanhope, for Charles, 1st Viscount Fane and Mary, daughter of Hon. Alexander Stanhope, FRS. Date of waiter (1732) coincides with their 25th wedding anniversary so possibly a silver wedding present, if such things existed in 1732. Maker, Paul de Lamerie.
